Due to security requirement and practicalities of Health Connect and The Conqueror App work there can sometimes be issues with the connection. Most of the time these issues can be resolved and once you understand the cause they can be avoided in the future.
If these suggestions below don't resolve your issue we are very keen to receive your feedback in this form. We may be able to immediately suggest a solution or your information may help us to improve the connection for our next app update.
Issue:
Apps can only send data to Health Connect once they are opened. So, for example, an activity was recorded with Samsung Watch, the activity will only go to Health Connect once you open Samsung Health app.
Solution:
Open the Samsung Health App on your device.
Issue:
The Conqueror App has been closed, therefore Health Connect cannot send data to The Conqueror App.
Solution:
Open the Conqueror App.
Issue:
You remove permission outside the The Conqueror app repeatedly.
Solution:
When you open The Conqueror app we request permission again. But once we request it 3 times, android blocks our app from requesting again and you will need to go through Health Connect to enable it again.
Issue:
You don't have Health Connect on your Android phone.
Solution:
Android 9 to 13 requires Health Connect app to be downloaded from the Play Store. Newer versions of Android have it installed automatically, however it still doesn't display in the App menu and can only be found in the Settings of the phone.
Issue:
If you don’t sync Health Connect and The Conqueror for over 30 days, we can only post steps and exercises from last 30 days.
Solution:
Ensure that you open The Conqueror app regularly so the data can keep up to date.
Issue:
Distance discrepancies. these can happen for a couple of reasons.
You can select in Health Connect the app priority for Steps and Exercises. Therefore, if they have multiple apps connected Health Connect might only send the prioritized app steps or exercises. For example, two apps are sending your steps to Health Connect, if a batch of steps were added at the same time, Health Connect will only add the priority app steps to the total of steps, otherwise it will combine those.
A real example: Google Fit sends batches of steps every 12 minutes, but Samsung health only has 1 entry for steps which goes from midnight to 11:59pm, which gets updated every time the number changes. If Samsung health is the priority app, only that total will be sent to The Conqueror.
You have the same data flowing into The Conqueror App from multiple sources, for example, you have connected The Conqueror App directly to Fitbit and then you also connect Fitbit to Health Connect and Health Connect to The Conqueror
Solution:
You will need to determine how you want to configure these Apps and connections to ensure the data that is coming through is correct. Please note that you do also have the ability to edit your posting preference for each challenge, so if you were putting different activity types to different challenges you can set this in posting preferences.
