The Great Sniffari 2026 Race is a new challenge type scheduled for May 2026.
The Great Sniffari is a special ten-day virtual race created for anyone who loves staying active, whether you're going solo or teaming up with your furry friend.
You can walk, run, hike, or move in any way that works for you. Whether you’re doing the race with your dog, in honor of a past pup, or simply because you love dogs, this race is for you. It's a celebration of movement, community, and our four-legged companions.
The medal that you'll receive also contains an extra special bonus for your pooch: a dog tag attached to the medal to celebrate your adventure together.
When can I join the race?
Purchase for the Great Sniffari will open on March 12th, 2026, and you will be able to redeem the join code in The Conqueror app. Registration will remain open until April 30th, 2026. After this date, the race will no longer be available for purchase. This challenge is a race that will only allow participants (and their dogs) to complete the distance between May 1st and May 10th, 2026. During this period you can log your activities and complete your chosen race distance. Participants who do not finish their distance by May 10th will receive a 48-hour grace period (until May 12th) to complete the race.
What distances are available?
You will be able to choose your own distance from the following 4 options:
3mi / 5km – Perfect for small breeds or first-timers
6mi / 10km – A fun adventure for active duos
13mi / 21.1km – For seasoned pup-athletes
26mi / 42.2km – The full-on Sniffari adventure
Important: Once you choose your distance, it cannot be changed, so be sure to pick the option that suits you and your pup best.
It is also possible to join multiple race distances, as each race length is treated as a separate race event. Please note that the medal is the same for all four distances.
Race experience
Unlike many Conqueror challenges, the Great Sniffari race is designed to be a short, fun event focused on completing your distance during the race window.
Because of this:
There is no map for this race
There are no milestones or in-app content
The focus is simply on completing your chosen distance during the race period.
Dog race bibs
To make the race even more fun, participants can generate race bibs for their dogs on the Conqueror website. These bibs allow you to add your dog’s name and share your Sniffari adventure with friends, family, and the community. You can generate one or multiple bibs if you have more than one dog joining you.

FAQs
Why can't I post distance yet?
Distances can only be logged between May 1st and May 10th, when the race is active.
What if I'm already doing a challenge and won't finish it before the Great Sniffari race window?
In the Conqueror app, you can have more than 1 active challenge, and this will apply to the Great Sniffari race as well. So you could still join the Great Sniffari race and then choose to either stop posting to your other challenge. At the same time, you complete the race (if you have a connection that auto-posts distances, you can adjust your posting preferences for this time), or you can choose to post distances to both the challenge and the race simultaneously.
Can I auto-post distances to the Great Sniffari race using my watch/phone?
By default, all your connections are turned off, which makes it easier to do the Sniffari as a single walk rather than accidentally post a distance when the race goes live.
You can still enable your connections in the posting preferences, or connect a new tracker to auto-post to this challenge.
Can I join more than one race length in the Great Sniffari race?
Yes, it is possible to join 2 or more different race lengths, as they are all separate race events. Just to note, the medal for all the 4 race lengths is identical.
Can I complete the race in a team?
No, the Great Sniffari race is designed to be completed as an individual human; your dog does not require an entry!
What does the Map look like for the Great Sniffari race?
There is no map for this race, as it is short and designed to be completed over a short period of time. There are also no milestones or content. We want to create a race where finishing is your short-term goal, rather than in our normal virtual challenges, where finishing is more of a medium- or long-term goal, and the milestones and content are the short-term goal.
