The Conqueror is launching a limited time virtual race to mark the 25th anniversary of the LORD OF THE RINGS™ film release. This race have been licensed with Warner Brothers.
Unlike our regular Virtual Challenges this Virtual Race is a limited time event and the race will only be able to be completed during the race week starting September 28th.
You will be able to purchase your join code for the Race across Middle-earth™ from August 6th, but you will not be able to start the race until September 28th.
There is no map or virtual postcards for this race — it's a different format from our classic LORD OF THE RINGS™ Virtual Challenges. Instead, you'll receive Training Scrolls in the lead-up to race week: beautiful images with iconic LOTR quotes to keep you motivated and immersed in the story.
You can choose from four distances for Race Across Middle-earth™:
🌿 5K — 3.1 miles
🌿 10K — 6.2 miles
🌿 21K — 13.1 miles (half-marathon)
🌿 42K — 26.2 miles (marathon)
Each distance is its own challenge in the app, so if you'd like to complete more than one, you'll need to join each separately! However the medal for each distance is identical.

The race join codes will allow you to enter any of the 4 race lengths, you do not need to choose this before purchasing.
