How to set posting preferences

Walk through on how to set the posting preferences in The Conqueror App.

Before you begin:

  • To update your posting preferences, you need to have at least one active connection.

  • Each challenge has its posting preferences, make sure to select the correct connections and activity types for all your challenges, to prevent wrong inputs.

How to set your posting preferences:

  1. Open The Conqueror Challenges App.

  2. In the menu bar at the bottom of the screen, tap the menu icon on the right.

  3. Tap settings.

  4. Tap posting preferences.

  5. (In this section, you will see all your challenges listed.) Tap on the downward-facing arrow located at the bottom right of the challenge you want to edit.

  6. A menu will expand, listing all of your active connections and activity types.

  7. Tick or untick the boxes of the connections and activity types you would like to include or exclude for that specific challenge.

  8. Tap save.

Things to keep in mind:

  1. You won't be able to edit or set your posting preferences if you don't have any active connections.

  2. Some connections won't support all activity types. For example, if you want to submit swimming distances and you only have Google Fit which doesn't support swimming you will receive this error when trying to tick the swimming activity type box:

  3. There are some activity types that are required by connections. As an example, if you have Google Fit as a connection and try to untick the walking (outdoor) activity type box, you won't be able to do so and will receive this error:
