What is ConquerorDistance

ConquerorDistance is a free feature where you can record a distance based activity from within the Conqueror App. These can be save or posted to a challenge.

You need app version 8.0.0 or later to be able to use ConquerorDistance.

How it works

ConquerorDistance relies on the GPS tracking of your phone. So you must have your phone with you when you are doing the activity. If you have a smart watch and you want to use that. You'll need to use one of our other connections.

Here are some important things to make your devices GPS location as accurate as possible:

  1. Things that can weaken the accuracy of the distance tracker: having no sim card, no data or wifi, being in a low service area, having battery saver turned on, or having low battery

  2. If the distances do not seem accurate, you can recalibrate the GPS on your device. This differs between device, so searching instructions for your device is a good idea.

Tap on the ConquerorDistance icon on the home/my profile/distance screen.

How to give permissions on iOS

The first time you click on ConquerorDistance you'll be taken to an info page that links to the privacy policy and you will need to click continue to proceed, this will then prompt a pop-up from your phone which requires you to allow The Conqueror App to access GPS Tracking data from the device, you can only connect 1 device to an account.

If you are enabling ConquerorDistance for a 2nd time (after disabling it) or if you click "don't allow" then you will be automatically sent to the settings page to reactivate this permission in the Motion & Fitness screen.

How to give permissions on Android

If you are enabling ConquerorDistance for a 2nd time (after disabling it) or if you click "don't allow" then you will be automatically sent to the settings page to reactivate this permission in the Physical Activity screen.

How to record a distance

Before you start a distance based activity, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Conqueror App

  2. Tap on the ConquerorDistance tile on the home screen

  3. Tap "Record a distance now"

  4. Select the activity type

  5. Tap Start

  6. Complete your activity

  7. Tap pause and then finish

How your distances are posted

After you have recorded the distance, you will be able to post the distance to a challenge if you have an active challenge, otherwise it will be saved.

If you have more than one active challenges you can select and unselect the challenges that it will post to.

Unposted Distances

If you chose to not post the distance to a challenge, or if you have no active challenges then your distance will be saved and you can access it later when you have joined a challenge and post it.

Distances are saved for 90 days.

Using ConquerorSteps and ConquerorDistance at the same time

If you are recording a Distance using Conqueror Distance and you also have ConquerorSteps connected, the steps that you do during the workout will be recorded as ConquerorSteps, so if they are posted to the same challenge this will be counted twice.
