Can I do multiple challenges at the same time?

Yes!

You can take part in more than one challenge at a time. You can choose to complete them all at the same time or one after the other.

Many people choose to daisy-chain the challenges together and complete them at the same time as distance targets are reached. Others like to complete one challenge before starting another one. It's up to you.

If you want to complete one challenge after another, it's best not to join a challenge until you are ready to post distances to it. You can purchase as many challenge entries as you like, then join the challenge when you're ready to start. You can save join codes in the app to redeem them later. This feature is called My Join Codes

Can I apply the same activities to multiple challenges?

Yes!

You can choose where to post each activity. You can either:

  1. Apply the activity to all challenges you're on.

  2. Allocate the activity to specific challenges, i.e. post running distances to one challenge and cycling activities to another. Learn more about this here.

There's no limit on what activities can be applied to active challenges. You can use all your steps in the course of the day, or specific steps completed during intentional exercising. Any activity that can be measured in distance can be applied. A conversion chart is also available to convert activities such as weights, climbing, yoga, and more into miles/kilometres. It can be found here.

Wouldn’t using the same activities on multiple challenges be considered cheating?

No!

Posting the same activity to multiple challenges can help you stay motivated, as you'll be continuing on from one challenge to the next.

The challenges are designed to get you moving. If you find doing more than one challenge at the same time using the same activities is motivating and gets you moving, you're winning!

Each person has different motivators. Choose the one that suits you and meets your needs.

Can I use activities I have completed prior to my start date?

Yes!

It's up to you to decide what activities you'd like to include/backdate.

You can manually input these backdated distances and add a note in the comment box if you wish, however, distances can only be backdated by up to 30 days with the app. If the distance was recorded farther back than this, you can use the most recent date and add a note of the date the distance was recorded. (Including a note is always optional.) Find out how to manually input distances here.
